Professor Dr. C.A.F. Tulleken

Job title : Neurosurgeon
C.A.F. Tulleken (1940) is emeritus professor at the department of Neurosurgery at the University Medical Centre Utrecht. Professor Tulleken has carried out extensive research in the field of neurovascular surgery and is the founder of the ELANA technique which makes it possible to create a bypass without occluding the brain arteries. Since 2007 he has been an associate of the faculty of St. Luke’s Hospital Roosevelt Hospital Centre in New York, USA.
Dr. D.J. Langer (David)

Job title : Neurosurgeon
Dr. David Langer is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and its medical school. He joined Dr. Flamm as his first neurovascular fellow at Beth Israel Medical Center and the Institute for Neurology and Neurosurgery (INN). He studied laser assisted cerebral bypass surgery in The Netherlands and develops this technique in the USA. He is currently a Neurosurgeon at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, New York, practicing in the ELANA Technique.
